What if you believed that you could change your reality with ease? In my work as an intuitive counselor, one of the biggest challenges I help my clients to cope with is the element of the unknown in their lives. When in the throes of a crisis like a break up, job transition or financial hardship, it seems we all want the reassurance that everything will turn out okay. Often, we are quick to judge, fear and even hate the unknown, and in order to keep ourselves safe, we seek answers and explore all possible outcomes so as to future-proof our existence.
In addition to our fascination with psychic and supernatural phenomena, quantum physics, manifestation and connecting with those who have crossed over, there are legions of educated professionals who dedicate their lives to predicting everything from the weather to the stock markets. There’s even a branch of environmental science called “futurology”. It seems that we all just want to know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that everything is going to be all right in the end.
What if I told you that, everything will indeed be all right? Bear with me for a moment. I’m not suggesting that you ignore the truth, or live in a state of denial; nor am I suggesting plastering a fake smile on your face, when everything seems to be going wrong. I’m talking about cultivating within yourself a deeply held belief that everything will be okay, even if you can’t see any proof of your future well being.
We can attempt to future-proof our lives “six ways ’til Sunday”, but in the end we all know that change is inevitable. What we can do instead, is future-adapt, and heck, I’m gonna go out on a limb here and suggest that we might even put ourselves in the driver’s seat and consciously program our lives to become an exact mirror reflection of the dreams we hold dearest in our hearts.
Right now, I’ll bet some of you are thinking: “Sure, sure – I KNOW all about the Law of Attraction” but how many of us truly put it into practice in an effective way in our daily lives?
In the simplest terms, Quantum Physics says that everything is energy and that we have the ability to mold this energy. So we have enormous creative power to change all observable realities just by what we think and believe. I’m going to repeat that: We ALL have the power to change our realities just by what we think and believe! For some of us that’s both a liberating and terrifying discovery. It gives us the ability to create the lives we want, but it also requires that we take responsibility for what we’ve created. It demands that we give up any victim mentality that we have adopted to make the difficulties of a tough reality a little easier to bear.
For many of us, not taking responsibility for creating the hardships we face feels better, because it doesn’t make sense that we would consciously have the desire to hurt ourselves or others. I’m suggesting that we do these things unconsciously by checking out and not being mindful the constant stream of unfiltered, unchecked and often very negative streams of beliefs, thoughts and outside input we all have in our daily lives.
Thoughts become things. There’s not a single thing that exists in reality that was not a thought first. Our thoughts, words and beliefs create an energetic signature that vibrates and then magnetizes into our realities an energetic match. It’s very simple universal truth: garbage in – garbage out.
Have you ever noticed that people who complain constantly always find more to complain about? Or that angry people frequently have accidents? As the old saying goes: “Where your attention goes, energy flows.” I’m repeating myself, and for good reason. It’s my greatest hope to help people understand the real truth that we have immense power to shape and influence our realities. Yes, that means YOU!
In addition to using my abilities as a clairvoyant and intuitive counselor, I am an energy healer. Energy healing helps to transform the energies that hold us in old unconscious energy patterns and limiting stories we tell ourselves about our lives. Since all situations and manifestations in our lives are created after being held in our thoughts and emotions for a time, it’s possible to change situations and future outcomes with positive directed thought, feeling and meditation.
When I work with clients in this capacity, we begin by identifying and clarifying old patterns and then we release them by healing and adjusting the energy field. Changes can occur slowly over time if resistance is present, or for some the change happens instantaneously.
The next step for most everyone, is to go on a “negativity diet” by closely monitoring one’s thoughts and speech and gently redirecting ourselves any time a thought that isn’t preferred comes up. By acknowledging and releasing these thoughts as they arise we become more aware of just how prevalent they are.
Feelings are also a very powerful magnet when it comes to transforming reality, and the next step in the process is to focus intently on what it will feel like to have our heart’s desire, even if there is no evidence of its arrival. “Acting as if” is a cornerstone of this work and I’ve seen it make miracles happen.
What’s important to remember is that we all have the ability to affect profound change in our daily lives just by being conscious of what we’re broadcasting out into the field of infinite possibilities.
